Being booted out due to your character

I've never been booted for being a Jonathan, but I've run into quite a bit Charlotte booters. It really depends on the chapter, I suppose. Chapter 7 usually lets you keep your Belmont/Morris... but chapter 10 usually boots you out unless you're a Soma. People just want that puppet glitch.

I was booted once for being Yoko, was kinda annoying because she's just what I was set to at the time, I was planning on changing.

That's just me assuming though, the guy never responded to me when I asked why I was kicked.

i rarely get kicked, but on the occasion i do, i just find another game, i never ask why

Usually I get the "you got kicked" message from connection issues. I hardly play with randoms, so I haven't experienced much, and barely was kicked, but I rather think I get kicked for my flag respectively the low connection bars.

So I ran into a group of 5 Somas
I instantly join as Simon
The host snickers.
So I change to Soma,
Halfway through the boss fight everyone else dies,
We timeout because of everyone not evading right (Not the easiest thing as a skeleton, I acknowledge)
I change back to Simon,
I get booted.

Denial is a powerful thing.

Though I really don't understand booting Yoko in all the stages...
Worst case scenario she can't get up the side of the castle on 9, which can eat into a few minutes, but other than that, I haven't met a Yoko that hasn't been an asset to the team.

And Charlotte, I'm going to take a wild guess and assume most people don't want her around after SSJ got nerfed, even though Robe Decollete and Bishamon Raiment have been released >:/

Jonathan, I don't understand this one either, the new fuma gear really makes his key strengths stronger and can preform uppercuts even faster. Most people who still play Jonathan have taken the time to level him up fully.

Simon, from what I have seen, there aren't that many good ones let alone great (I fit into "good" or adequate). Some just call the 2nd level whip good enough and just start spamming retro weapons, and it's really hard for me to watch D:
Any Simons reading this that haven't completely leveled up... LEVEL UP!

I don't have Maria, so I can't pinpoint what could be an issue or non issue.

I've played with people from Australia (not sure about Austria though) and japan and all sorts of places, occasionally I do not connect, but that doesn't bother me much.

If i get kicked out of a game due to lag (happens a lot whether i play with randoms or friends...roommate doesn't share the internet that I pay for <_<) i usually just keep trying till i get sick of it.

Honestly, I think that the choice of character actually speaks heavily for a player.
Most people I run into randomly and play anybody but Soma, Alucard or Richter are usually very good players and know what they're doing. I mean, there ARE exceptions (I ran into one of those tonight when playing Ch. 10 with randoms), but most of the time, they're really good.
Fuma and Simon are more there because of the novelty effect since they're new and whatnot, but as soon as that settled down, at least Fuma, but possibly Simon as well, also will end up being characters likely used by more skilled players.

Actually, add Shanoa to the list of choices for terrible players, since Globus and Acerbatus have been released, there's been an influx of horrid Shanoas. <.<

I forgot what we played (chapter, that is), but that's entirely possible. :3
