I'm wondering how many similar favorites CV fans have in common. I became even more curious after hearing modus & I share the same top 3 games (FF6, Fallout 3, Oblivion) in terms of game hours played. So, what other games would you consider to be your staples?

The list could go on and on for me. Off the top of my head I am a Tales of fan... or WAS, seeing as how we never get stateside releases anymore. I'm a Touhoufag, so there's that series to throw out there too. Mario games are definitely a good choice, I make sure to beat everything 100%.
But as for actual games? I've never put a list together before.

Hmm this is a tough one. Out of all the games I've played myself I'd have to say.......
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga (1 and 2) Dark Cloud Tales of Symphonia.
Probably the games I put the most time in and enjoyed every single hour of it.

I love final fantasy 6, my favorite character was Cyan, shame his awesomeness got drowned out by everyone else's (except Umaro). I love Legend of Zelda : Link's Awakening, my first gameboy game. I love Legend of Zelda : A link to the past. I liked dead rising, And I absolutely adore that download title they have on xbox live... Netflix? I play that for hours Oh, and I enjoy some of the main pokemon games, I might not pick up the new one, I played the Japanese rom and thought it was rather mediocre. EDIT: *Facepalm* How could I forget Ristar, my avatar at the moment of this posting, I loved the old sonic games on the Genesis (Megadrive) too! ... And Mega Man games, love those. I love 9 the best.

I don't consider myself a full-fledged Castlevania fan... yet.
As for my favorite games... I just can't think of any at the moment. I'm going less and less into gaming or more and more into school/homework/art. The obvious favorite one that's on my computer desk is Ouendan 2, though. I like rhythm games, as well as fighting and Action RPGs.

Chrono Trigger, Suikoden (the entire series but 2 was the best) any Megaman X (heck I even really liked the RPG), Marvel Vs. Capcom (series hopefully, we'll see in about a week), Gargoyles Quest (and Demon's Crest), NBA Jam, Fallout (series) and finally the FF series, Breath Of Fire Series, and as far as total hours played for a 360 game the only one that even can compete with HD is Star Ocean...

Tis a tough choice, but I'd have to say Patapon 1 and 2 in terms of time I've spent playing them, as well as Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger...

People play games other than castlevania? On topic: The best games (other than Castlevania) in my opinion are Metal gear-through peacewalker my second favorite series. TES: IV Oblivion logged 454 hours over the course of 2 years. Final Fantasy IX the first game I ever truly beat. 100% done got Excalibur 2 did a level 1 run through etc. etc. Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross And the pre-gamecube Fire Emblem's I could never get into Path of Radiance not sure why
