I'm a horrible TV/movie watcher, so I'm a poor choice to start this thread. But I'm starting it anyway! What TV shows are you keeping up with? What movies have you seen recently? Though I don't watch much, I'm still always looking for recommendations.
The only show I'm really keeping up with at the moment is FMA: Brotherhood. Last movie I watched, I couldn't even tellya.

Quick question have you seen the first run of the FMA anime TC? Anywho, I love netflix so I have caught up on a few movies, I just watched 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shining, and Battlefield Earth (So bad its good) and a few tv series like Archer, MST3K, and as odd as it sounds Blue Mountain State. The last movie I got to see was Tron Legacy in Imax 3d I saw it before, didn't like it because it didn't feel a lot like the original, but loved the music from it, Saw the first Tron movie, found that quite enjoyable, and then watched Tron Legacy again, and actually I enjoyed it a lot more the second time. While I dislike the script, it was really enjoyable from a visual and audio stand point, I had to buy the soundtrack by Daft Punk, but that's just me This is my favorite song from the soundtrack, it's rather short, it's still enjoyable

I've never got into anime/manga although I blame naruto since its my only expeirence with it. I am however an avid tv watcher although the only shows I watch are on thursday nights. CSI big bang theory and the NBC line up. On movies, My favorite director is Chirstopher nolan and he has been since I watched Memento for the first time. I tend to go to the movies every other week.

Oh boy, where do I start... Well, the wife and I plowed through the new Doctor Who series. Highly recommended if you like Sci-fi, humor and/or British humor with a dash of drama. FMA: Brotherhood was excellent. What the first series should have been. May it rot in hell. >_> ESPECIALLY that horrible movie. :shudder: We're now watching Fringe and Psych. Still on Season 1 of Fringe, but we're on season 3 of Psych. It gets much better at the start of season 2. <3 Started One Piece. That just kinda fell of the radar for us. I don't think we didn't like it. Just... stopped watching is all. Walking Dead was excellent. Waiting for Castle to come to Netflix. >.> Lie to Me is also pretty good. Haven't seen a lot of anime lately, as it all seems generic and boring these days. Maybe I'm just old.

Re: Naruto/One Piece Yeah, I gave both of these shows a fair, non-biased chance. Naruto lasted 42 eps before I quit, One Piece lasted 3 eps. Nothing against either show, I'm just not a part of their target demographic. Re: Recommendations I'm looking for some too. Lets find something awesome to watch. I do have an ANN page if someone wants to pick a recommendation off the tree, but most of what I have listed is very common anime that most have already heard about. Quick question have you seen the first run of the FMA anime TC? It took me about 5 years to finish (saw the 1st half on DVD, moved, never got to finish it until Dec '10), but I did finally get around to watching the end. I followed that up with the movie. While I didn't hate the movie, it was full of plothax and other unsavory oddities. Brotherhood I'm liking, but the first 20-some episodes had some severe pacing issues (understandable considering the circumstances). I just watched ep #31 last night, where the pace has picked up considerably. The atmosphere is reaching a very desirable point. im more into the darker anime/manga such as Gantz, Hellsing, Berserk, etc Berserk -- aka my favorite anime of all-time/my favorite manga of all-time/my favorite story of all-time.

Honestly, I don't watch very much TV. The only shows that I have kept up with at all are Dexter and The Walking Dead. Other than those two, nothing. Most of the time I have too many other things to do and I play CVHD in my free time.
