ATK-based Maria build

Something I'm toying with IN MY MIND for when I eventually max her. Max ATK, with Miser Rings and Assassin's Cape and whatnot, and go to town on mobs by throwing beautiful birds at them.

I want to do this because Maria's MP regeneration sucks, and I'm already using spell/INT builds on enough characters to not want another.

This also allows me to live out my fantasy of using beautiful birds as ammunition in my fight against evil.

Has anyone tried a build like this?

It doesn't work specifically well because her base damage output is pretty meh and she can't spam the birds like she could in RoB and PoR. So, it's challenging, but I'm sure one can handle it.

I did test out an ATK build for Maria awhile ago, and it does alright, especially when it comes to dealing with bosses when you are low on MP. The comparison you deal with an ATK build and a INT/MP Regen build is not that big.

In my opinion, I prefer a mix of INT & MP regen over ATK, since she can dish out a fair amount of damage with her skills, and her ATK is also decent in case she can't use her skills. I don't think it's worth losing 18 INT (19 with Blue Cape) for 14 ATK (15 with Assassin Cape), since her skills are more important than her bird attack, and she already gets a good boost of ATK with her best equipment.

The ATK build I tested out was:

Head Gear - Combat Beret
(Couldn't find anything better for this slot)
Armor - Robe Decollete
Leg Protection - Sonic Boots
Cloak - Bishamon Raiment
(Don't think it's worth losing a bit of MP regen for 1 ATK)
Accessory 1 - Miser Ring
Accessory 2 - Miser Ring
Item: Super Potion
(Philosopher's Stone won't be used as much due to slow MP regen & low on INT, which makes it not too effective in the long run)
