Can anyone give me tips on how to get sonic boots easier? I've been grinding for hours and hours on ch. 9 hard still no luck of getting it. Do I get it easier on solo or co-op?

Local co-op with three friends, a 6-player team of Zerker Juliuses spamming Holy Cross, or lots of time and alcohol.

I'm on my 170th and still no Sonic Boots. Let me know when you get yours please. Since no one can verify if anything effects boss chests, all we can safely go off of is character specific item pools and local coop. Pick a character with a smaller drop pool of rares and play with friends. Go up the left side of the map to finish it fastest. Or just sit back and forget about it and play. Honesty, "trying" to get sonic boots will only bring you pain. And if you play the Belmonts spend your time getting Fuma Greaves instead. |

I got mine via local coop, just easier to obtain rares. As mentioned above, I suggested to a friend who was also hunting sonic boots to use a character with a low drop pool (Fuma). Then two runs later after she switched to Fuma, she got them. Hopefully, that can help you out on your grind for them.

I've been getting masses of them while hunting for Kaisers +1, Alucard Swords +1 and Philosopher Stones. You'll get there eventually.

Yes Fuma..
The character with the smallest drop pool is Fuma for that boss chest, with a total of only 8 possible items.
People who rave about Yoko having the smallest pool don't know what they are taking about whatsoever. She has 11 items there, Charlotte has 10, and the Belmonts all have 9.
Sadly I've ran it 170 times with Charlotte and still don't have the boots.
Alucard has the largest pool of 15 items, followed by Soma's 13.
