Weee Sonic Strike glitchies are funsicles

I've been messing around with it a lot recently. The only thing even slightly significant I've accomplished is getting into the hidden room with the green chest in Chapter 9 without breaking open the entrance. You know, the one under the Dullahan outside.

Someone else has probably done it before me, but it's funny nonetheless.

Can you explain this glitch? I literally just started playing as Jonathan yesterday.

That was the video I used to figure it out. Basically you wanna use Sonic Strike at the exact distance from the edge and then jumping. The placement is rather precise, but using cues on the map and just in general knowing how far Sonic Strike will take you helps a lot. And whipping before doing it helps you not move beforehand.

Any other neat shortcuts you can take with this? All I've been really using it for is jumping a couple gaps in Chapter 1 and in chapter 3, quickly getting to the boss if you spawn on the right side. Hardly anything special, I know >: P

You can skip all the switch shenanigans in Chapter 7, but you ditch your entire team in the process. (You could go down and open the one door on the right side but only Somas would be able to make it up without the switch pressed.)

And on Chapter 11 I managed to get into the cloud room, but couldn't figure out how to enter the boss room from there. Haven't messed with it in a while tho.

I looked all over 8 too, but I couldn't seem to find a spot where the Sonic Strike glitch was viable. Maybe if I could do the thing like on the building on Chapter 10, but I haven't the faintest idea how to do that. Although I think there's some spots where that could work. (Purple Chest above Legion with the room with the Blue Chest mirroring it.)
