Interesting information for whip users

I found these interesting informations on gamefaq's board:

Retro Helm, Armour and Cloak all give a hidden Sub Weapon boost.

Retro Helms boost makes it equal to Fuma Helm in terms of damage, but Fuma Helm gives an MP Regen boost too so is overall better.

Retro armour will actually make your subweapons slightly stronger than with Fuma plate, and also has better defensive stats, but I personally prefer the MP regen of Fuma plate.

Retro Cloak is better than Simons Cloak offensively, as it gives an Int boost as well as a small hidden boost to subweapon damage as well (2.5% IIRC)

Retro boots give no Subweapon boost, and Fuma Greaves dont give an MP Regen boost; the speed boost is their additional effect.

It's possible but I say we should test this first, have a group of the same character and same base stats and maxed subs and compare the damage between all of them. I do believe however that fuma greaves give a mp boost as well as the speed since it's the only piece of mp regen for my whip users since i use miser rings, I do gain more mp.
