I remember there being something special about the level 50 one I got. It has like, 2000 base damage and an extra 1000 from mods. Pretty dang strong.

I didn't see anything about recovering characters but the patch definitely seems to be awesome. Is it already implemented? That's the vibe I'm getting from reading the article.
Definitely worth playing again. XD
