People, listen... Before Castlevania Harmony of Despair was announced for PS3, IGN had it on the TBA on their site for PS3. And then a couple of months later, it was announced for PS3. Now I go back to look, hoping for a release date. Good news. There is one. Bad news... December 31, 2011. They may change it to be sooner, but if it really comes out on this date, then Konami... Chillax. That just means that... the PS3 gets more goodies or something, I dunno. It might mean Konami is actually making an effort to fix the glitches from the 360 version.

Its just a placeholder date. Just play other games until Konami makes a statement about the release date.

it's not an official release date, they just put something down. It's the same as some games, if you check their release date, aren't for 2 years, yet they're actually planned to be release this year

Whenever you see a 12/31 release date, it just means that they intend to release it before the end of that year. The number of games actually RELEASED on 12/31 is a far smaller value than the games given that release date.

yep, i believe operation raccoon city still has a release date for 12/31/2012, unless they've already changed it, havent looked in awhile

Currently, they changed it to Q4 2011 (RE: ORC). Also new games announced usually get that vague date (of w/e year) just so retailers can start taking pre-orders.
