Now I know a lot of people are mad about the way somethings were handled pre-release. Mostly the Alternate Reality Game. But let me just say this.
Portal 2 is incredible. Gabe Newell took my expectations, ate them like the fatty he is (lol Half-Life 2: Episode 3 pushed back another year), and shit pure awesome. I was totally blown away. It might be a bit easy, and some might argue short, but that's still what was good about Portal. It didn't overstay its welcome to the point it all felt repetitive.
And the ending blew me away. I had to ask myself "Did that really just happen?" and the achievement for beating the game's description? "That really just happened."
If you liked Portal, get it, if you didn't play the first Portal and you're a PC gamer I just so happen to have a copy I can gift to someone on Steam so get it, play it (Its free, what do you have to lose?), then get Portal 2 if you like it.
Out of all the games I've played so far, easily my GoTY. Despite Gears of War 3 and Mass Effect 3 on the horizon I doubt that'll change. Seeing as I've yet to play any of the Gears of War or Mass Effect games.
EDIT: Clarified GoW was Gears of War.

GoW used to be God of War. Threw me off for a minute. I completely forgot about Tears of Bore 3 coming out this year (Really didn't like Gears too much when I played through the first one and part of the second).
Anyways, Portal is probably one of my favorite games of all time, to be honest. I mean, the original is extremely short, and that could be expected. It was in a pack of five games, I mean. It just left me wanting more. So naturally I was expecting a sequel (Especially after the credit sequence. I mean, come on, it's way too obvious at this point). When I heard there was co-op, I... Did something in my pants. To say it nicely.
I want it. So bad. But I need money. @_@

I wanna buy this game, buy going to wait for price to go down. I do love puzzle games like this one. The best kind of puzzle is the one that is so simple, it looks damn impossible. Co op looks pretty interesting, though I would prefer to play with a friend, and not some random player hopping in.

Well, if there's any of you who have the game and want to play co-op, hit me up. I just picked it up today, and it's pretty fun.

I think I remember that one. It's not too bad. If you're aiming at the wall the laser is blasting straight at, you're doing it wrong. Took me awhile to realize you gotta use the left wall, man.
