Hearing about a guy who hacked the game and put thief rings in every armor slot. How? did he do it via computer? any clues? Save editing, but I don't know how it works in detail, albeit I know several people who do. It's not "a Konami guy", but the Konami customer support responding to questions posed via Email. I wouldn't know how it is relevant WHEN it was done... And it's not incorrect things, but rather contradictory, as they have stated different things regarding the LCK stat and its relevance to boss chests. There's been a lot of mails regarding that issue that have been posted on GameFAQs, but I can't link you because I am not going to wade through GFAQs archives - you can look for yourself.

Konami Customer Support gets vague details from the developers, and then passes them onto us. This process leads to inaccurate information overall. A good example of this is while it's confirmed by developers that luck effects boss drops, the relaying of this information leads to nobody knowing how it effects it, or if it has a reasonable impact. So while the information is not incorrect, it is inaccurate and nondescript.
