Hello all, thanks for having me! I've been a Castlevania fan for a long time, with SOTN being one of my favorite games. I missed out on all the PSP, GameBoy and DS games though since I never had any of the portables. Anyway, I picked up Harmony from PSN the other day and have been enjoying it for the past couple of nights. I downloaded Richter and Chapter 10 as well.
Here are my questions -
1. Can someone point me to an infographic or annotated picture of the status page? I don't know what all the icons are for. I'm guessing there are fire, lightning and ice resistances, but not sure on the others.
2. I'm having a tough time with Chapter 6 on easy. By the time I get to Dracula I have no more health potions. If I co-op with a high level player, does that carry over to single player so I can continue to Hard mode? If so, can anyone on PS3 invite me to a match for this?
3. Chapter 10 is awesome, I'm a big fan of NES Castlevania. The monsters are so friggin tough though. Not really a question, I guess... Does attack power only level up through gear? It is taking me multiple hits with Alucard (around 46 damage per slice on Zombies) to take out the enemies in Chapter 10 and I"ve only ever made it to "Level 4". How much damage should I be doing before I can take this Chapter on?
If I think of more I'll post! In the meantime, if you're on PS3, add me to your friends list! - JustinXXVII is my PSN ID

1. Can someone point me to an infographic or annotated picture of the status page? I don't know what all the icons are for. I'm guessing there are fire, lightning and ice resistances, but not sure on the others. The icons are the different types of damage; defense on the armors and attack on the weapons/spells. In the monster compendium, black icons mean they're neutral, blue icons mean the monster is resistant and red icons mean they're weak against it. Sword: Slash Hammer: Strike Trident: Stab Flame: Fire Snowflake: Ice Lightning: Lightning Star: Holy Spiral: Dark Skull: Poison Eye: Curse A cursed enemy will have reduced attack power. You unlock levels gradually. By beating Chapter 1, you unlock Chapter 2, by beating Chapter 2, you unlock Chapter 3, etc. By beating Chapter 6 of Normal, you unlock Hard mode, where you have to start over at Chapter 1. DLC levels are unlocked from the start, but it's not advisable to start out with them. It doesn't matter where you beat them; you can beat Chapter 1 offline, and Chapters 2-5 online, it will still unlock Chapter 6 offline and online. However, keep in mind that whenever you join a game, all other players will not be able to play the levels you don't have unlocked - same goes for DLC stages. It depends on the character. Soma and Alucard get more powerful only by acquiring better weapons, while all other characters power up with leveling up their subweapons/spells. Check the character guides for more info on that. Chapter 10 is arguably the hardest level in the game, so you definitely shouldn't attempt trying it at your stage of the game. Get better gear and power up the spells/subs of your main character before trying it. I also would advise you to at least get all the other DLC stages, as they contain the best gear you can get for your character. Hope that helps.

Thanks. The comment about DLC and gear is a good one. I've found better weapons in level 10 just by playing it and dying 10 times. The Holy Sword and the Green Two Hander (can't remember the name) have been serving me well in standard.
Regarding the enemy weakness info: I've equipped the Flame Bracelet, I think it's called, it's a purchaseable item. It gives +25 to the Fire icon. Is this just +25, 25% more damage to enemies weak against fire? I don't feel like my attacks have any more power than otherwise, which is why I thought it was Fire resistance.
And regarding Leveling up sub-weapons. To get more attack power with Richter and his whip, I have to level up the knife, axe, and the other subs? I understand the slot rotation thing and bdc stuff so that's not a problem for me if I have to do that. But going through that will make whip attacks better?

It gives you 25 "points" of fire resistance.
And yes, you'll have to level all the "base game" subweapons for Richter (Knife, Axe, Holy Water, Bible, Cross and Ricochet Rock) in order to make him stronger; the higher the levels, the more attack power you'll have with him.

Thanks, this clears up a lot. I misunderstood the first post. The icons reflect my stats, and the icons are indeed for resistances.

On weapons it means it's the type of damage they do, on everything else it's resistance.

Yeah I also first made the mistake of thinking resistances upped by damage for that element.
Add me up man! I'm playing constantly.

New PS3 user here as well. I bought this on XBOX originally and I don't have one anymore. So I was very excited to see it on the PSN. I've been playing it a lot recently so add me. My PSN is Bahamett and I do have mic.
Currently working on Richter and not sleeping ever.
