I found this in the FAQs written by petrie11111 on GameFAQs. I didn't know where to put this since the character guide section was locked from making any more new posts. It was an interesting read, but I'm not sure how accurate his descriptions are since I've never actually pulled off the acceleration glitch myself. If anyone that can do the glitch can verify if the info is good, that would be great www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/997663-castlevania-harmony-of-despair/faqs/62733Thanks.

He means Charlotte has no way to activate the glitch outside of the ones induced by her "long fall" recovery animation. I can confirm that these glitches all work, though his FAQ, while being the only real accessible source of information on the glitch, does not include many details or tips on how to perform any of them. It serves as a good (and appreciated) intro to a subject which has become somewhat of a science to some. Charlotte and any character can do this glitch by falling from somewhere high enough to cause a short sliding animation. You can do it on anything that has an edge, even gears or small blocks. It's easier however to just use the downward kick to do it. Do a downward kick at a ledge, but land before the edge causing you to slide. Hit jump, or jam jump if you want, right before you fall off the edge. If done correctly, It will cause your character to fly backwards, passing through any walls on the way. This seriously can take HOURS to activate. It's not as simple as timing one button press on a single frame. That would be easy enough, but there seem to be multiple factors at work here. Last night I was up until 4:00 am rigorously working one platform in order to skip straight into Astarte's lair. I average 1 activation per 30 minutes of repeated tries. Like one try per second. As stated in his guide, the master of these glitches is the Japanese player known as Kuroiwahiryu, but many Japanese players have dedicated videos to this type of glitch. Through his long explanations in Japanese I have extracted few real usable tips. His videos are insane, and filled with him performing this glitch everywhere. My recent youtube clip of me making a high jump with Charlotte using induced lag was a response to his 26th lengthy video on the acceleration glitch. He describes his videos as a kind of incomprehensible record of his experiments. His youtube account can be found here. www.youtube.com/user/kuroiwahiryu?feature=g-user-likAnd here is a video of what I am talking about with the long fall induced recovery animation. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z142k1aAMkKnow that the glitch is not limited to the elevator, and this example is a special case, not requiring you to press jump. It is both possible and easier to do this glitch elsewhere. Watch Kuroiwahiryu's videos for a better understanding of this glitches nature.

Kuroi's videos are definetely worth watching. Watched myself them and learned to trigger the glitch with sonic dash more reliably by checking the starting points and angles of the jumps/dashes. It's all about position and timing. For me it helps to listen to the sounds, and by that rhythm the jump after the slide/dash better..
EDIT: Oh, speaking of the "Natoosh" . I had no idea what this meant either until I played a few days back and Charlotte started to spam "Good work" - command due to me being able to solo out the boss with others as skeletons. She says with english voiceact "Not too shabby" . Spam this fast enough and you get "Not too sh- not too sh- not too sh- not too sh-" ... Which I think for english tongue sounds like "Natoosh" . Pointless I know, but I guess that's the meaning of it.
