Sophia went missing and Carl got shot, which will probably lead into meeting Hershel and his family. Nobody died tonight, though! i really like michonne's character D: but that's a ways away. I figured they'd get rid of Shane by the first episode of season 2, i figured they'd take advantage of it being 90 minutes long to do something big. Some kind of "GET THE FUCK READY WE'RE BACK" sort of thing Seriously. The episode kind of dragged on towards the end. I have to admit, I'm kind of worried about what they're doing to Shane. I was expecting the power struggle between he and Rick to become even worse, but it seems like both of them have forgotten about it.

on the topic of dragging things on...i think they've overdone shane's stay with the group. I approve of them changing things from the comic, it keeps things interesting. Even the new addition, the Darrel guy who's the addition to the group (the guy from boondock saints) he's a good character i like him. I'm ok with them adding a character that had nothing to do with the comics. But I have a feeling that Shane might not disappear until the end of season 2, which worries me that they might make the story lose it's appeal. Part of the appeal of the walking dead, was that the author wasn't afraid to get rid of characters, or even mutilate his own characters.

True but the comics didn't have actual actors in it, that could affect it, possible actor contract limitations to where they are one a show for this long and then up to the studio to keep em or not. Never heard of it myself mind you but possible, IMO.

I'm looking forward to seeing The Governer more than anything else right now. The way he was handled as a character made the comic go from good to great for me. The incest with his zombie daughter might have been a little over-the-top, but otherwise he was a fantastic villain.

But I am interested in seeing if AMC actually goes through with Ricks arm.... We should probably change the title of this thread to "spoilers" ------------------------------ looks like this show is facing possible cancellation and a hiatus halfway through 2nd season: www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/walking-dead-what-happened-fired-221449I'm pretty disappointed in AMC as a network.

Fantastic. One of the few things left on TV that I'm actually interested in and the executives had to make a mess of it.

New episode starts in a few hours. The channel guide says "Bloodletting- Rick discovers a possible safe haven; Shane must go on a dangerous mission to get needed medical supplies."
My predictions for this episode: Hershel is introduced, his children will survive this time (at least until the prison is discovered, if they go that route), the rest of the group will find Sophia as a zombie, and Shane will find supplies, get bitten, and make his way back to Rick and the others before succumbing to his wounds.
P.S. I'm glad they skipped the Wilshire Estates arc.

i don't think they'll change how shane dies. Though they made him "more of a good guy" in the movie than he was in the comics.
Wasn't Sophia the one who wanted to have a threesome with Rick and his wife? or is sophia the daughter of that one? i forget names

Sophia is Carol's daughter, around Carl's age.
