Season 2 starts on the 16th on AMC. Who else is interested in it besides me? For those not in the know, The Walking Dead is the TV adaptation of a comic taking place after a zombie apocalypse. You should totally check it out.
EDIT: There will probably be discussion about the events of the episodes. Spoilers will be unmarked from here on out. You have been warned.

My roommate and I are both pretty excited for this show coming out (season 2). I was working as an accountant for a cab company when the first season started airing, and it would just happen to come on while i was working, so i got to watch it at work. I'm not a huge fan of television...in fact I hardly watch it, with the exception of Mis Fits (watch it, it's like a vulgar, english version of Heroes...or so i've been told), and the Walking Dead. The Walking Dead so far has been an awesome show, and I'm ok with the fact that they don't really follow the comic too closely, in fact i find it more interesting due to that, I'm not always watching expecting what i know is going to happen, to happen

Yeah. That's actually one of the problems I had with the Watchmen movie. Apart from Rorschach's flashbacks, it was really just a live-action version of the comic. Nothing shocked or surprised me (again, barring Rorschach's flashbacks) because I already knew what would happen from reading the comic.
I'm kind of hoping they cut out the mini-arc at Wilshire Estates and go straight to Hershel's farm. That bit just felt like filler, honestly. I do appreciate how they're letting the tension between Rick and Shane build up, though. I didn't like how that was handled in the comic.

i never read the comic but i still didn't like the watchmen very much. it was too...bleh
the concept of the movie (comic?) made sense. and it makes you think more or less. But unfortunately it just didn't stand out to me :/

I'm watching a rerun right now. My prediction is that either Shane, Daryl, or T-Dog will die this episode. Maybe all of them!

Sophia went missing and Carl got shot, which will probably lead into meeting Hershel and his family. Nobody died tonight, though!

I never got a chance to see it before today cause AMC was show the whole season one before the start of season two, love the show but some parts made me just say "noo! Stop him!" and the one chicks sister got bit..... twice! God I hated that part. Didn't get to see the new ep because of other "issues" but I hope to.

I was thinking about watching this show, but I wasn't sure if I'd really want to jump right in without seeing the first season. Maybe some other time.

I figured they'd get rid of Shane by the first episode of season 2, i figured they'd take advantage of it being 90 minutes long to do something big. Some kind of "GET THE FUCK READY WE'RE BACK" sort of thing
