Hi there, new to the forum but I had a few questions
1) Do Soul Eater rings actually affect soul drop rates for boss souls? Since you can only get them as loot from boss chests I imagine the formula may be different and the rings don't affect them, but I'm not sure.
2) What is the max gold in the game? I've heard from several source the max is 9,999,999, but I've heard from other sources it is 99,999,999. I'm at about 8.5 mil now so it won't be too long until I find out myself I suppose, but would be interested in knowing.
3) How does the gold ring work? When I equip it my luck stats do not change at all, and like I said above I have 8.5 mil so I would imagine that would be enough to affect it.
Thanks, and I'll post here if I can think of any more.

I can't fully answer all of your questions, but I can kind of answer number two.
The max gold in the game is probably 99,999,999 or more. However, the max gold that you'll actually need is just ten million. Once you've bought all the items you'd ever want from the store, you'll just want to have ten million on hand to make full use of Miser Rings (if you're forunate enough to get them).

I did get a Miser ring on about my 30th run of chapter 7...feel very fortunate. Got that, a Royal Crown, that sword for Alucard that changes based on play time, and my 4th pair of winged boots all within about 6 runs yesterday. Shocking luck after 200+ runs of Dracula with no valmanway, winged boots, or claimh solis.
Are you saying that any gold after 10 million does not affect miser rings/any other item that is based off of gold (only other one i can think of is gold ring)?
That actually reminds me, what is the max playtime you can have for an individual char (does it max out at 999 hours?) and just how high can Alucard's sword damage get based on that?

1. Yes, they do, according to Gambler Glasses. With a luck setup(plus gamblers) including two Soul Eaters instead of Thief Rings, Gergoth's soul has a 7.65% chance of dropping. With Thief Rings instead, the rate is 4.60% Pretty large effect there, almost doubles your chances.
2. The max gold is 99,999,999. I have about 20 mil, so it definitely isnt 9,999,999. I've also heard from others about this and it appears to be the general consensus.
3. The Gold Ring increases the frequency of money rewards and the value of them. For example, enemies may drop 500 gold every time you kill one. Kind of useless, actually.

Thanks, Guess I will have to stick to the soul rings when soul hunting.
