At least... not until I figure out a way to remove this expired credit card from my account information. I apparently can't use a prepaid card until this thing is removed.... and APPARENTLY theres an outstanding balance on it, so I can't remove it.

remember how i work for xbox? yeah what kind of PPC is it? 1 month? 3 month?
the balance you were on before, was it a 1 month subsciption that auto-renewed on you? or was it a 3 month/1 year? how overdue are you? 2 months? they don't suspend your account until 45 days after the renewal date and payment has not been received, so it's likely you're on a 1 month subscription and you're 2 months overdue.

Well I was using my dad's credit card from last year. I remember buying the 12 month/year membership before the price hike.
Checking my Microsoft billing history, apparently another 12month/1year subscription was auto bought on 9/8/2011
As of this morning, the connection was suspending with the claim that the credit card could no longer be charged. So... that's probably what happened.
The credit card was canceled late September/early October. I can't use the prepaid card until the suspending credit card is removed, and I can't remove the credit card information until another payment method is activated or I put more money into this existing one?
I also read that I'd have to call Xbox customer support to ask for a renewal think to be removed. Wtf, I don't wanna do that, talking to phone support is a pain in the ass >_>

I'm in the same boat as you, Ren. My gold was supposed to renew on the 10th, but I really can't. I could switch it over to a working card, but at the end of the last summer we had to move out of nowhere, so we're kinda broke atm.

Your account is fine. Basically what they do is verify that your PPC is an existing code, and as long as the code works, they'll cancel your 1 year sub, and renew your sub for free, and use your prepaid code. Don't forget to turn autorenewal off this time though @ Ex, just call in and remove Autorenewal. It's a hassle otherwise.

and that person will probably hang up on you thinking you're a prank call. On that note i only actually worked for 3 hours today :/ had tech issues all day -_-
oh and the sooner the better.
if you wait until your account is written off then you're SOL and you gotta pay the full amount and you don't get the time you pay for.

Ok, well I just got that out of the way finally. No more gold for me. At least not until I pick up a subscription card or something. Ah well, it's better than getting it suspended.
