I cant seem to break that puppet attack the boss does, any ideas? Using Maria by the way. Sorry, I'm a noob  |

It's OK, we all started somewhere and didn't know what to do, don't call yourself a noob cause your not, you just don't have enough information. The puppets aren't effected by damage but how many hits, on normal the puppet takes three hits but on hard mode it takes a lot more. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think around 10...maybe, not sure sorry, but a fast hitting attack can work like maria's guardian knuckle helps.

The number of hits necessary to destroy the voodoo dolls also increase with the amount of people playing with you. = )

If you are playing online with other players maria singing could help but only if the other players are attacking the puppets too.

Your best bet is having a Charlotte with Acidic Bubbles blasting the voodoo dolls, IMHO. The amount of hits on that spell alone are almost enough, regardless of party size. If not, any other multi-hit move works.

Thanks for the replys  I'll try guardian knuckles next time I face him. So the number of people in the room= more hits to destroy the dolls....yikes! A couple of times I played chapter 2 online everyone died one by one. Ha ha sad times.  |
