The only way I play soma nowadays, mage style. There a ton of fun spells to use for different chapters, I'll just like the ones I find most useful.
Wicked Witch of the West
Blue Soma
Imp
R Medusa/Buer
Claimh Solais+1
Royal Crown(1-6)/Dragon Helm
Death's Robe
Bishamon Raiment
Sonic Boots
A Ring
Chaos Ring
Berry Mousse Cake x3
Beelzebub
Fish Head
R The Count
R Queen Medusa
That's my usual spell setup. R Count is kind for lulz. But Medusa/Fish Head should take care of anything you run into. However, there are many other souls worth using. Any ch 11 minboss/boss soul, Ukoback(10),Hellmont(7),Legion,Peepillary. A ton more, but I doubt anyone wants me to list half the spells in the game. My only two staples are Fish Head and R Queen Medusa, the rest of the list is completely up for grabs at all time, so have fun with it.
