Taken from Cactrot on Gamefaqs: "Yeah, so I joined lurknmerk and he showed me the basics of it. We both got it once, with slightly different results. I've been trying for the last half hour since, and I triggered it one more time.
The basic idea, as lurknmerk has described, is to ride the right elevator up, jump off to the left, and then turn and spin kick back on. You have to land on the elevator, but the timing and position aren't at all clear.
The first time I did it in lurknmerk's game, it activated the "black hole glitch" and threw me into the left wall. When I got to the top, I was thrown way to the right and landed directly next to the switch (which lurknmerk said is unusual, you usually land in the spikes by the blue chest). I hadn't pressed anything after I landed back on the platform clear until I stopped at the switch, but unfortunately I was so caught off guard that I hadn't watched my positioning or anything, so I didn't learn anything except that it's possible. He did it, too, and landed up in the spikes, like he said.
The second time by myself, I paid more attention. I definitely hit the far right edge of the platform when I landed, and it triggered the black hole glitch again. But this time, I just flew up into the spikes and got hurt, then fell back down into the elevator shaft.
I'll probably keep screwing around with it, but I wanted to mention that it seemed like hitting the right side of the elevator might be important."
I of course didn't find this as I'm at school and rarely play richter but can anyone here confirm this?

Copy pasting my post on GameFAQs because I'm lazy.
Well, I tried for about an hour and got it to work five times. Let's see I can remember the specifics.
I believe you have to jump left, turn in mid air, then spin kick. Turning and spin kicking at the same time doesn't seem to work.
I believe I was more than halfway up the elevator shaft every time I got it to work. (It was at least above the red chest every time)
I believe I landed on the right side of the platform every time.
And I don't actually know how to get through the ceiling once you get it to work. (I also accidentally wasted my double jump every time, as I wasn't expecting it to work. So that probably doesn't help)
This might be possible to do consistently, but it seems to be really specific.

I managed to do it once. Rich floated to the spikes, then turned into a monkey.

wait wait, are you suppose to land back on the same elevator you leaped off from?

Supposedly, and from what I've heard, on the right side of it.

Well, maybe people like using glitches? I dont mind really, but once i start farming that chapter (been working on 9 for those damn sonic boots) I'd probably lean towards the faster way of completion. And if this glitch is solid, Richter will be even more badass.
